2024 GLOBAL HEALTH SYMPOSIUM IS APRIL 10TH
The Global Health Institute and the Office of Global Health at the School of Medicine and Public Health invite you to the 19th Annual Global Health Symposium, Moving Global Health Forward, on April 10, 2024, 4:30-8:30pm at the Health Sciences Learning Center & via Livestream.
The event features keynote speakers Erin Barbato, Director of the Immigrant Justice Clinic, UW Law School; and Sara McKinnon, Faculty Director, LACIS, and Professor of Rhetoric, Politics & Culture, Department of Communication Arts, sharing their work on both the Safe Passage from the Darién Gap and Migration in the Americas projects. Plus hear a fireside chat about global health projects at UW-Madison with Frances Vavrus, Vice Provost and Dean, International Division; Robert N. Golden, Dean, School of Medicine and Public Health; and Kristin Long, Associate Professor, Endocrine Surgery, School of Medicine and Public Health.
