Join this virtual information session to learn about the Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE) Medical Fellowship. FASPE annually awards 85 fully funded fellowships to graduate students and early-career professionals in Business, Clergy, Design & Technology, Journalism, Law, and Medicine. Fellows spend two weeks in Germany and Poland participating in intensive learning experiences at sites of historical significance.

FASPE Medical examines the roles and actions of physicians who supported the policies of Nazi Germany as a starting point for exploring ethical responsibility in medicine today. By studying how medical professionals helped design, enable, and carry out those policies, the program provides a framework for understanding the importance of ethical leadership, self-awareness, professionalism, and ethical decision-making in contemporary practice.

Applications for the 2027 FASPE Medical Fellowship are now open. The fellowship will take place June 18 to July 2, 2027, and applications are due January 3, 2027.
